Privacy policy
This policy explains what AskYourLove uses to run the game and understand visits. You do not need an account, and we do not build a permanent player profile. It is operated by AskYourLove.
Information used to run a game
On one shared phone, the cards stay in that browser. When a room connects two phones, we temporarily process the names you choose, the mode, card identifiers, answers, guesses, the score, and connection times. That is what keeps answers private until the reveal and lets a refresh restore the room. Rooms are temporary. They are not a history of your relationship.
Please do not type secrets, health details, precise location, or financial information into a name. This is a casual game, not a private mailbox.
Analytics and technical information
We may collect pages viewed, an approximate country, device type, the site that referred you, and technical errors. A normal request can also include an IP address and browser type. We use this to see which pages fail, not to follow you around the web.
Advertising and cookies
Answering a card does not load an ad. If advertising is added later, it stays on reading pages and off the game itself. You can block or delete cookies in the browser. Where the law requires a choice, we ask before any cookie that is not needed to run the site. The essential bits we do use are stored in your browser so a game can remember the card you are on.
Sharing and retention
Hosts, measurement tools, and abuse-prevention services may process this information for us. We do not sell player names or answers. Room data is kept only while that room can still be restored, plus short security logs. Favorites you save remain on your device until you clear them.
Children and sensitive information
AskYourLove is for adults 18 and over and is not directed at children. If you believe a child sent us personal information, email support@askyourlove.com and ask us to review or delete it.
Your choices
You can leave a game at any time, clear the browser, and skip anything that would connect two phones. Questions about access or deletion go to support@askyourlove.com or the contact page. If this policy changes, we will update the date above. These practices follow the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
